Warehouse Racking Planning Software
Plan it. See it.Check it.Install it.Hand it over.
Rackulate takes a project from warehouse survey through racking specification, layout, 2D/3D checking and installation costing to a client-ready report — one connected workflow, start to handover.
The Product
Every stage, built the way it actually works
Real Rackulate screens and terminology below — not concept art. Visuals are illustrative examples, clearly marked, never your saved project data.
Warehouse Planner
Draw the building, add columns, doors and obstacles, and get an instant pallet capacity estimate.
Rack Specification
Racking Configurator
Set frame height, depth, beam levels and pallet type, and see the rack spec update live.
Layout Editor
Place racking runs on plan with live 2D/3D and automatic clash detection as you build.
3D Visualisation
Walk the aisles in 3D and check sightlines and clearances before a single frame is on order.
Installation Estimate
Crew size, day rate, install duration and total cost, calculated automatically straight from the real layout.
| Bill of Materials | Qty |
|---|---|
| Upright frames — 7,500 × 1,100mm | 16 |
| Load beams — 2,700mm | 288 |
| Footplates | 32 |
Project Report
A client-ready report with BOM, layout drawings and install schedule, generated in one click.
The Workflow
Six stages, one connected project
Never project-managed a racking job before? Here's exactly what happens at each stage, in plain language. Already know your way around — click straight into any stage below.
Help
Common questions, answered up front
Once a project is open, every workspace page has its own Help button with the full reference and keyboard shortcuts. Here's what most people ask before that.
How do I start a project?
Use New Project above, or Continue Working if one is already in progress. Rackulate walks you through Warehouse, Racking, Layout, 3D, Installation and Report in order, and tells you what's missing if a stage isn't ready yet.
Is my work saved automatically?
Yes — your project autosaves to this browser as you work, and you can save it to a file at any point to reopen later or hand off. Autosave can be turned off in Settings if you'd rather save manually.
What happens if two runs clash?
Layout flags overlaps, out-of-bounds runs and narrow aisles as you place them, with the exact issue listed in the Project Health panel — so a layout is checked for real buildability, not just drawn.
Can I see it in 3D before installing?
Yes — the 3D Visualiser renders your actual layout (frames, beams, decking, pallets) from any angle, and that same view is captured into the final report.
How is the installation cost worked out?
The Installation Calculator estimates labour hours, crew size, duration and cost directly from what you specified — frame count, beam levels, decking and more — with the full time breakdown shown alongside the total.
How do I get a client-ready document?
The Report stage brings the whole project together — specification, layout, a 3D capture, bill of materials and installation estimate — into one export, with a choice of presets or individual sections.
