Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of Rackulate (rackulate.com). By using Rackulate, you agree to these terms.
1. What Rackulate is — and isn't
Rackulate is a planning and documentation aid for warehouse pallet racking projects. It helps you record dimensions, work through a racking specification, generate a layout, run capacity and bill-of-materials calculations, and estimate installation time and cost.
Rackulate is not, and does not replace:
- Structural engineering
- Professional site surveys
- Manufacturer specifications
- Load notices
- Safety inspections
- Installation drawings
- Building or fire-safety requirements
- Review by qualified personnel
Any project planned in Rackulate should be checked, verified and signed off by appropriately qualified people before racking is purchased, ordered or installed.
2. Your responsibility to verify
Rackulate's calculations depend entirely on the information you enter. You are responsible for independently verifying, before purchasing or installing anything based on Rackulate's output:
- Warehouse dimensions
- Rack capacities and load ratings
- Loads, weights and pallet specifications
- Clearances and aisle widths
- Quantities in any bill of materials
- Costs, schedules and installation timings
Rackulate figures are estimates based on the inputs supplied and may contain errors — whether from mistaken input, edge cases the tool doesn't anticipate, or ordinary software defects. Do not treat any figure, drawing or report from Rackulate as guaranteed accurate without independent verification.
3. Your entered and exported information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into Rackulate and for the content of any project you export. Exported files are yours to store and share, and you're responsible for doing so securely — see the Privacy Notice for how locally stored and exported data is (and isn't) handled.
4. Acceptable use
You must use Rackulate lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorised access to the service or the systems behind it. You must not present Rackulate's output as having been produced, checked or certified by a structural engineer, surveyor, manufacturer, or other qualified professional when it hasn't been.
5. Availability and changes to the service
Rackulate is provided on an "as available" basis. It may be changed, updated, interrupted, suspended or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice, and no particular level of availability, uptime or continuity is guaranteed.
6. Intellectual property
The Rackulate name, site design and underlying software belong to the operator (see the Legal Notice) or their licensors. Project data you create belongs to you, as described in the Privacy Notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rackulate is provided without warranties of any kind, and the operator is not liable for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service — including losses connected to inaccurate calculations, lost or corrupted locally stored data, or decisions made based on Rackulate's output without the independent verification described in Section 2.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where such liability cannot be excluded, these terms do not attempt to do so.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
Rackulate is a UK-operated service and these terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the law of your country of residence.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use Rackulate after a change means you accept the terms as updated. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
