Legal Notice
Last updated:
Rackulate is a website and browser-based application available at rackulate.com. This legal notice explains information about the service and the conditions that apply when using it.
1. What Rackulate is
Rackulate is a warehouse-racking planning and documentation tool. It runs entirely in your web browser and helps you record warehouse dimensions and site details, configure a racking specification, generate a layout, run capacity calculations, produce a bill of materials, put together a report, and estimate installation time and cost. It is not a network-rack, IT equipment, cabling, port or VLAN planning tool, and the "rack" it plans is physical warehouse pallet racking.
2. Who operates Rackulate
Rackulate is provided by the operator of rackulate.com. For any enquiries about this service, including requests for further operator identification details, contact hello@rackulate.com.
3. Permitted use
You may use Rackulate to plan and document warehouse racking projects for your own lawful business or personal purposes. You must not use Rackulate to break the law, to attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorised access to the website or its underlying code, or to misrepresent output from Rackulate as having been produced or certified by a structural engineer, surveyor, manufacturer or other qualified professional. Rackulate is a planning aid — see the Terms of Use for the full position on what it does and does not replace.
4. Intellectual property
The Rackulate name, the site design, and the underlying software are the property of the operator identified in Section 2 or their licensors, except where stated otherwise. The web fonts used on this site are served by Google Fonts under their own terms. Project data you create — warehouse dimensions, racking configurations, layouts and exported project files — belongs to you; using Rackulate does not transfer any rights in your own project data to the operator.
5. Third-party links and services
Rackulate loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) so text renders consistently; this is the only third-party service the application itself calls. Rackulate does not currently use analytics, advertising, authentication or cloud-storage services, and does not currently link out to other websites from within the application. If that changes, this notice will be updated to say so. Rackulate is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site a link might one day point to.
6. Changes to the service
Rackulate may be changed, updated, suspended or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice, including features, availability, and the content of this and the other legal pages. Continuing to use Rackulate after a change to this notice means you accept the notice as updated.
7. Governing law and jurisdiction
Rackulate is a UK-operated service and this notice is governed by the law of the United Kingdom, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the law of your country of residence.
